Varca Beach is a less popular destination in Goa compared to other big brothers like Calangute, Palolem, Arambol, or even Colva, but undoubtfully, it’s a perfect destination for enjoying tranquil and quiet holidays with your loved ones. If you are planning to taste the absolute serenity of Varca Beach, you must have to choose a perfect beachfront resort for achieving an unforgettable experience. You know, Majestic Beach Comforts in Varca is one such beach resort that offers you the ultimate flavour of a leisure trip.

I’m delighted to share my very own stay experience at Majestic Beach Comforts during my Varca trip. You can read this review thoroughly before locking your stay.

Basic information about Majestic Beach Comforts in Vacra

Furnished with a series of individual wooden cottages, beautiful exterior decoration, green gardens, and children’s park, Majestic Beach Comforts is a far better alternative to the standard hotels around Varca Beach. A wide path aside the row of cottages leads you to the Varca Beach of finest sand; in fact, it’s considered as a private beach of the resort. Absolutely serene and crowd less ambience of resort-front beach area offers you purest privacy on your happy holidays.

Apart from its general outlook,  Majestic Beach Comforts is also equipped with a number of prime facilities, including a swimming pool, luggage storage space, free private parking area, restaurant, bar, and karaoke.

We didn’t need to use the luggage storage space as we were on a short trip to Varca, but I met two of our neighbour couples who used the space for storing their luggage; on a short conversation they mentioned,  they were on a 3 months’ vacation to India, travelling from Sweden! On their four weeks’ long Goa trip, they chose Majestic Beach Comforts as one of the base points to cover part of Central and South Goa. Their previous base point was Arambol, and the next was going to be Palolem.

Now come inside the cottage. I’d say it’s perfect!

Beautifully furnished wooden cottages are equipped with a little balcony/ terrace. You can spend your lazy time there.

Interior decoration is superb, especially the bathroom. Although the cottage walls are made of well-polished wood, the bathroom area is concrete-built. It is spacious and equipped with a bathing cabinet that doesn’t allow the bathroom floor to become wet. Slippers, free toiletries, and towels are provided by the resort authority.

Rooms are very spacious and all the common facilities are included therewith, including a refrigerator, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area, and a private bathroom. Beds are covered with neat and clean linen bed sheets.

Also, they offer 24-hour front desk service, quality room service, and a daily complimentary breakfast on your stay. The continental breakfast contains various menus, including different fruits, bread-butter, jam, noodles, boiled egg, omelette, egg pouch, cake, fruit juice, sausage, south Indian dishes, and more. So, get a full stomach with your favourite dishes before staring the full day’s trip.

Is it worth staying at Majestic Beach Comforts in Varca?

I visited Majestic Beach Comforts during my trip to Varca Beach with my family and friends; we were 3 couples and 3 kids in our group. So, the entire review is written based on my experience as a family person, part of a couple, as well as a part of a group of friends. We all really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Beach Comforts in Varca; we loved the beautiful atmosphere, pool time, beach time, bar-hours, fooding, services, in fact almost everything!

From my personal viewpoint, Majestic Beach Comforts is a great resort to stay at during Varca trip. Although there are several other premium resorts around the Beach, based on the price, comfort, and value of money, Majestic Beach Comforts is the Ideal one.

If you are willing to experience the beach beauty right from the comfort of a cottage room, better you book the sea-facing cottages; the rents are a bit high for beachfront rooms. I personally realized, staying in sea-facing rooms is worthy for honeymoon couples, otherwise, these are not so essential; when you are on a tour, you’ll not stay inside the cottage most of the time in a day. In addition, open beach space is waiting for you just behind the resort, you can access it anytime.

How to reach Majestic Beach Comforts in Varca

It depends on your last location. If you are directly travelling from Dabolim airport or the nearby railway station, just rent a car to reach Majestic Beach Comforts in Varca. From Dabolim airport (29 km) it takes about 50 min to reach the resort. The nearest railway station is Madgaon (8 km); you need 15-20 mins to reach Majestic Beach Comforts from Madgaon.

If you are travelling from other destinations of Goa, hire a rented car and travel through. Following are the approximate time required to reach Majestic Beach Comforts from other Goa destinations.

  • From Arambol (87 km): 2.5 hours
  • From Calangute (65 km): 2 hours
  • From Panaji (42 km): 1 hour
  • From Colva (6.5 km): 15 min
  • From Cavelossim (10 km): 20 min
  • From Agonda (37 km): 1 hour
  • From Palolem (38 km): 1 hour

Final Remarks

The very first thing I must say, Varca beach is definitely serene and peaceful but not attractive like other exclusive Goa beaches, such as Palolem, Kalacha, Cola, Kakolem, or Cabo de Rama. So, you are suggested to visit Varca Beach prior to visiting any of the afore-mentioned places to feel the real thrill of the place. As I mentioned, Majestic Beach Comforts is an ideal resort to spend your Varca vacation, but if you find any better option definitely proceed for it.

In this Majestic Beach Comforts review, I tried to expand my realization in the best possible way. Hope this helps you to make a decision.
